At San Diego Botanic Garden.....
Townsend's Warbler.. "Dendroica townsendi" ... measures 5 inches long with a wing span of 8 inches... These bold colored, black and yellow warblers hunt for insects and are in constant motion.. they jump/fly from branch to branch gleaning bugs from leaves .. many times they will be seen hanging upside down to get to the insects that are found under side of the leaves.....
These warblers also hover/glean...
Have a mellow day everyone...
