3-12-22...Branching!

3-12-22...I went to my friend's house to check on the progress of the two Allen's Hummingbird nestlings. Today will be approximately 21 days since I posted about the hatchlings. As I was watching the nestlings getting fed and exercising their wings, one actually stepped out of the nest to the branch next to the nest bowl. The first shot I took of the nestling was one in the nest cup and the other appeared to be perched on the rim of the nest. I show a shot of the Mom relaxing on an acacia branch and then feeding the two nestlings. The greatest part of this morning was when I got to see one of the nestlings branch out of the nest. We have a branching!
